The perfect office solution
With a microphone range of up to 3 metres, the Polycom Voice Station 500 is perfect for conferencing with three to four participants. Its compact industrial design fits well on a desk or small table, making it a great solution for the office. Best of all the VoiceStation 500 is easy-to-use, with a universal keypad and intuitive functions including volume adjustment, mute, redial, flash and hold, as well as convenient controls for Bluetooth. A handset phone can be even plugged in for private calls.
Clear calls every time
The VoiceStation 500 conference phone features famous Polycom innovations to help improve call clarity and productivity. Full duplex technology means callers can talk at the same time as one another, ensuring the unit’s speaker will not cut in and out as traditional speaker phones are prone to doing. 360-degree microphone coverage with intelligent mixing targets the person speaking, while Dynamic Noise Reduction (DNR) actively removes background noise such as ventilation systems and projectors. The Voice Station 500 also resists interference from mobile phones and other wireless devices, delivering clear communications with no distractions.
Conference anywhere
Need to make a conference call, but can’t connect to an analogue phone line? No problem! The Polycom VoiceStation 500’s Bluetooth connection lets you connect wirelessly to your mobile phone via Bluetooth, so as long as you have a signal, you can have a meeting (if your phone doesn’t have Bluetooth, you can still connect via the 2.5mm jack). And if you have access to a PC, the same technology lets you connect to it so you can make internet calls for free! This Bluetooth option is the main difference between the VoiceStation 300 and Voicestation 500. If it isn’t an important feature for you, you may be better off opting for the cheaper, yet virtually identical, Polycom Voice Station 300.
